Vacancy: test automation engineer
We are currently looking for a test automation engineer to work in an agile environment as part of a scrum team. As test automation engineer you will be responsible for all automated tests and improving test efficiency within the team.
Your responsibilities as a test automation engineer
- Helping the scrum team with automated tests
- Producing, executing and managing test scripts
- Helping the team to define their acceptance criteria
- Reporting test results, the test coverage and any issues that were discovered
- Attending meetings with other testers to discuss the modus operandi and share knowledge
- Sharing your vision and know-how with the rest of the team

What we expect from you as our test automation engineer:
- As you will be assisting a team with test automation, we do expect you to have previous experience.
- You have previous experience of agile methods and frameworks such as scrum, kanban or safe.
- Excellent communication skills will help you to share your vision and knowledge with the other members of your team.
- A proactive and assertive disposition and not fazed by stimulating change.
- Proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- You relish a hands-on approach, like writing test scripts and solving problems. In addition, you will look at ways and means to enhance the test environment and the applications.
- Experience of Java, Cucumber and Jenkins is a requirement.
- Experience of or an interest in cloud computing is an asset.
